The concert was sponsored by the local tourist office and was a complete sell-out. We were lucky to have invitations and were surprised and happy to have reserved central front row seats. Great for photography - the low level mixed and constantly varying lighting not so much so! I couldn't get the D750 to meter satisfactorily no matter which setting I tried, so about 20 minutes in I gave up and winged it in manual for the rest of the concert. This was captured at 1/60 sec at f/2.8 and ISO 6400 with a 200mm lens.
Excellent shot of the violinist, representing the excellence of the ensemble and the concert they performed. The percussionist was outstanding..and being able to watch him from our front seats was an unexpected thrill, a testament to his musical gift.
