Fact or fiction. I must visit the museum one day. I used to frequent the pub a few doors along called the Charles Dickens many years ago in the late 70’s. The pub is now a freight company. The shipping docks are very close by. The house can be seen here

I had no idea that Dickens was born in Portsmouth, it does look like a pretty row of houses and a shame about the surrounding developments.
