Back in July 2016 I posted a picture of this same tree, which had been badly damaged by a storm. It survived the big winds on Tuesday night, but last night it finally succumbed to the huge storm we had. This morning we had thunder, lightning and torrential rain. It fined up enough this afternoon to take a look at the damage on our golf course
Amazing shot, it just split in half! Hope you did not have too much damage on the golf course. Two years go lightning struck and we lost a couple of trees which were hundreds of years years old :-(
@ludwigsdiana the guys were out on the course on Friday clearing up 4 pine trees that came down on Wednesday night. I was surprised this one managed to survive that night.
