Took my Tamron 18-400mm lens out for an outing today. It has been relegated to a cupboard, as I find the focus quite soft at the longer length. I am thinking of taking it with me next week when I go to the south island for a few days, including doing a cycle ride. Don't want to carry a lot of heavy gear. It was only as i was leaving that I realised that I had the auto stabilisation switched off, which makes for even more blurry photos. In the end i decided to just ESOOI one, as none of my shots were fit for purpose.
