I took this photo on a day when I was feeling a bit uninspired, but then remembered this week's mundane challenge theme, candle(s). I ended up having lots of fun playing with the light.
I really like this. It was a bit by accident - as in fact i was taking a pic of my feet againts the blue sky.. and then this poppet walked by!! (i cropped my toes out!)
I love this photo for 2 reasons - because I know this is what Lily does after I tell her to turn her lights out...and because I'm so glad I was able to create the photo that was in my head.
Kindness: A kind lady from an antique store in front of the Greek Temple dropped a basket of food and water down to the bottom of the ruins early in the morning so that this alley cat could have her breakfast.
Because I waited 3 years to get this shot and did it without any fancy drop equipment ~ just a hole cut into the bottom of a plastic water bottle and some luck in my timing!!
I pick this one because it is something different from what I usually shoot. It was pointed out to me that most of my shots have water, a pier or a sunset in them. So this one shows that I do venture out of my comfort zone on occasion.
Even though this doesn't actually look like me, I really like the pseudo-double exposure effect of flash + long exposure. I am also pleased with the processing, particularly the colour scheme.
This is my fav from the past week because it shows my husband and daughter having fun together. They do not see each other much during the week so the weekends are precious.
I had a lot of panoramic views this week but have chosen this butterfly.
This is my favourite, I love the fresh blue and white colours

I love the colors in this one and that is represents a more simple time.
I had Lots of favorites this week. But I really like this one!!!
The title says it all! ;)
About the only way I can get my family to pose :)
because i think it portrays emotions of people who don't really like each other at that time and I love candid photography
I took this on a lovely weekend stroll around Cambridge
"How to Play with a Cat"
It's very very hard to take a nice parrot portrait with an iPhone so I'm proud of this :-)
