@pcoulson - I have never heard of an Eagle Owl.
There is a bird sanctuary not far from where I live. Occassionly they will take the birds, apon request, to businesses or events for demonstrations. I guess you can go to the sanctuary too, but you have to get reservations you can't just walk in.
Fitting. This picture was taken in 2021 in Utah on the drive back home from Texas where I visited my grandpa. He's in the hospital now, but maybe he'll pull through. He's been through a lot in his 95 years. It was wonderful that I was able to visit him then and learn a lot about my family history... and also watch a lot of Gunsmoke with him haha.
