Jackie, apologies for the delay in getting this challenge to you. I meant to do it earlier in the day. You have done an impressive variety of photos, themes and techniques. I see that lately the majority of your shots are taken close up. I was going to give you the challenge of not-close-up architecture, then went back through your album and see a good number of historic buildings estpecially in the spring months. You have an absolutely STUNNING photo taken from high up in Salisbury Cathedral. By that, I'm presuming you are ok with shooting from high up. So for your challenge I'd like you to take a picture from as high up as you are comfortable being. Extra points if it is a more-or-less straight down shot. If that won't work, as an alternative take a photo looking straight up, preferably at something high up either outside or indoors. How does that sound?
@mcsiegle hello, a brilliant challenge, could i ask you to postpone until we're partnered again? Am daytime prisoner to indoors (work, decorating, day light savings) and nearest high rise is a drive away but cant do on my day off today or Sunday. Will try high up indoors if go somewhere with high ceilings!
@mcsiegle off to theatre tonight, should get something there, hoping people looking at phones in interval. Wil! Be quick snap on little point and click
@30pics4jackiesdiamond - that's when a basketball player jumps in the air and places the ball through the basket whilst airborne and scores. something to that effect. i guess in here, when you say a slam dunk is when you hit a challenge on the head. like for example, you're asked to do a white on white and you nailed it right away, i suppose that's a slam dunk. i don't know but...
in baseball, a grandslam is when a player would hits a homerun when all the bases are loaded which gives him and the team a total of four runs or scores, the most you can score in baseball. in some sports like for example in tennis or golf, when a player has won 4 major tournaments, they call it a grand slam. that's why whenever i have fitted in a post for 4 challenges or themes i call it a grand slam or grand salami.
@christinabengephotography charity shop purchase, thank you
