Moon Rise ( not)

Two months of drought, broken today, to restart Monday. This is where the eclipsing moon was rising, behind low clouds. Am I miffed?? Oh yes!!

I'm saying the same thing in the morning - can't see the moon and its eclipse. Could be trees or cloud!

I totally understand, the Perseid Meteor shower is almost always hidden by clouds. Do really like the blues as well as the reflections.

Oh dear after all your clear skies to finally have rain when the eclipse was to happen must have been disappointing.
No sight of the eclipse here either, too much cloud cover at 6 am. It has turned into a lovely clear day too.

I am with you all on this, Fortunately I had been out earlier just in case but I was looking forward to both the eclipse and the photo opportunity.

That is exactly what I thought when I went outside and saw clouds! We have had nothing but clear skies for weeks...until last night. They hemmed and hawed and thankfully let me have a few peeks...as you saw... :)

I am sorry your hopes were so rudely dashed, but do hope you get some much-needed rain.
