The Lesser Spotted Soaring Kenwood Seagull

Kali challenged to be inspired by the Kitchen Art of Jackie Rankin a New Zealander. ( https://luminous-landscape.com/kitchen-stories/ )

I asked my friend to join me- she answered her door wearing crash helmet, goggles and hi-viz vest. That set the tone for this shot!!

Of 181 photos taken, many were of of sky but I did get a few that are pretty close to Rankin's work. Now you think I'm bonkers? I just copied her and didn't think up this idea.

Kali I have never had such fun at failing at a challenge!! This was an absolute hoot and I learnt so much about focus and settings and improved my panning. Someting I did learn about my camera, if I use the LCD on the back there is a massive delay in getting the shot.

Oh Dear - i was sure you'd just pasted the mixer over the shed - but you actually heaved it over!!!! That is hilarioous!!! Has anybody ever told you that you are just a tiny bit mad??? So good to see!!! :)

I have to agree with the rest that the vision of you tossing a mixer in the air must have been alarming to anyone who walked by. I’m glad to hear you are safe at home and no one has put you in the loony bin just yet!
