hi Jackie... this is a lovely tribute to those who gave all...
for get pushed this week, how do you feel about surreal (or unlikely) juxtaposition... you can interpret this in any way you want, and pair it with other challenges as well... hopefully that will work for you - do let me know if not!
Very nice tribute. There was a road on the eastern sovereign base area, (ESBA), in Cyprus called, Kohima Place. I believe the epitaph was from a memorial in Kohima ( NE India).
This is beautiful- the sacrifices of these brave men and women are truly fading from memory and being erased slowly from history by current and upcoming generations. But pictures never forget. May they always speak as loudly as this one.
Thank you for your kind words on the "Art IN Seeing" shot. LOL there's no real symbolism in the subject matter other than photographers do have the ability to find a picture/subject in almost anything! I tend to collect piles of "oddities" for those kinds of pictures and when hubby discovers them he just rolls his eyes and shakes his head. He knows it's hopeless to tell me to stop. At least I get rid of them once they've been immortalized in a photo.
