Margaret and Susan by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Margaret and Susan

A very obliging pair who posed for me earlier in the day. I snapped them again on our way back down the hill as they paused to admire the lavender.
They arrived by mini-bus with some disabled people, who were unable to complete the climb up the field. Margaret has lupus hence the wearing of a jacket on a very hot day. Both were wearing sensible hats and carrying water bottles.

This is an absolutely amazing composition. They really stand out in the black and white

I loved that they were almost apologetic for not having a camera but were there just to enjoy the lavender.

that is a large lavender field. where i've been there were only about 10 rows. i think it must be the part of the property where the touristy type people are allowed in. are you liking black and white now?

The gently curved background lines and the 2 figures not looking at the camera, somehow make this a very serene image. Beautifully composed!

@amyk thank you, and they were so lovely, when I recognise them, had to get the m!!
@summerfield I think it's a few acres!! I do seem to have given myself a bnw month!! I don't see in monochrome to compose very well at all, but am getting better to find photos to convert
