Lying Eyes

My dad always said this monkey is a Steiff but was made worthless when my mum removed the label in the ear. He was a 2nd birthday gift, so he's just turned 57.
H is green glass button eyes are still bright, but don't think he'a a Steiff

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Oh he's so sweet! I love those green eyes! If he's a genuine Steiff he may have some value. I'm not super familiar with Steiff prices but I imagine there must be at least some collectors who like them well-loved :)

My teddy bear was either a gift for my first Christmas or first birthday. Although he definitely isn't a Steiff, he means much to me and we won't be parting company, I hope, for some time yet. I'll be 67 at Easter.
