This is wonderful - and yes - I would say that it works for the rule of thirds. (though I might try to include a tad more foreground so there is more space under the bench.)
But then - just my opinion and everyone's taste is different!
@farmreporter thanks wendy, just checked other shots, see why i picked this one, more foreground gave more bench, which looked ' just ok' wondering if a crop to remove that bit of grass would have worked, so no dark stripe at bottom. OR have same amount dark from tree above matching foreground at bottom. Hmmmmm, wish could go back in time and take more shots!!! @wendyfrost@365anne this area was fenced off, too soggy, looks great for picnics!! @joysabin did edit/processing in camera!!!( such a clever camera!) I do quite like negative space.
