These moths used to be occasional visiters to southern areas of the British Isles, flying in from France over The Channel. But now with our hotter summers, especially this year, they have colonised and are seen more frequently
However, I was so excited to see this one feeding on the flowers in NT shoparea I stopped other browsers to take its photograph (a few dozen times!) I was extra chuffed that when given a mega crop so much detail could be seen.
