I was anticipating a house full this weekend, but yet again That Sodding Virus scuppered our plans. Had a pile of vegetables to cook what my girls call a Mummy Roast. Four of us managed to demolish most of this pile of vegetables
Love this composition and the fantastic light on it. A perfect entry for the challenge. I’m about done with worrying about the virus and would be thrilled to challenge it for a taste of this food!
Jackie, such a "fresh from the market" scene. I'm sorry your plans were foiled. I think this may be the way it is. I hope your daughter gets better soon and has no significant last effects. One question. What is the green vegetable on the upper right?
@randystreat it's a romanesco, part of the cauliflower family, has the most beautiful spiral fractal pattern @grammyn she says she's feeling stronger today @koalagardens got to live with it! @wakelys oh yes!! @taffy provided by the sun!! @ludwigsdiana thank you Diana @wendyfrost most tasty @shutterbug49 she better be ok for Christmas!! (Such a caring mummy I am!)
I remember seeing this vegetable in someone's photo and thought it was an oddball cauliflower. Don't think that I've ever seen one or heard of one either. It did have a beautiful pattern in the photo.
@randystreat I'm going to use half I didn't cook for my GP challenge @summerfield it is Vikki, sunlight was streaming through the kitchen window @haskar thanks Hannah
