Blossom

I'm reading Dave Goulson's latest book and he tells me these double blossoms are not bee friendly. It also seems the bee friendly plants I bought from the garden centre may be so drenched in insecticides they're still poisonous to them. Wish I knew that before I'd bought them!!

They are a stunning flower and fill your frame beautifully but I can see how they might not encourage bees.

oh poor bees, its like the swan plants they sometimes sell in garden centres that you can buy especially to raise monarch caterpillars... sprayed and lethal!!!
