You Do Not Mess With Delia!!

Delia's recipes are fool proof, easy, safe and timeless. Her Christmas recipe book comes out annually for three recipes; the beautifully easy Creole fruit cake, tasty mincemeat and the typed Christmas pudding recipe I store between the pages.

This year I AM messing with Deels, I'm cooking the mincemeat in the slow cooker.
Colourful setup. I look forward to sampling.

Good luck! All sounds delicious and reminds me I need to get on with mine. Last year I abandoned Dekia and made the Mary Berry Xmas cake - turned out very good

When I got married, one of my first cookbooks was Delia Smith's.

Terrific Composition to your photo and so nice to get a view into your kitchen. Iā€™m guessing the posh rum will only make it taste better in the end. Yours sounds so much better than mine already

I bet I could mess it up. I suck at baking.

A lovely shot! I am making the Christmas cake after lunch so will also get my camera ready. I make mincemeat every year but it's not a cooked recipe! Or are you making a shepherd' s pie?!!

@Dawn thank you.
@quietpurplehaze gently melt the suet to cost the apple, it stops it fermenting
@blueberry1222 nah, bung it all in and stir.
@grammyn I had to hide the sockets with something
