Treasure for Tomorrow

Chichester Cathedral keeps a lot of local parishes' silver secure. This treasure belongs to the cathedral and will be used for services tomorrow. I asked permission of the ( very, very young) official to take this quick photo.

Wondering if this is a Golden Triangle? I'm seeing them everywhere now!

The silver is beautiful although it looks to have a golden tone to me. The clarity of your photo is absolutely amazing and I love the background. As far as the Golden triangle is concerned even after I read about it I still don’t fully understand it so I can’t answer that question for you

this golden triangle thing befuddles me. but i know the silver has a golden tone, but we'll do it this way. if you draw a line along the side of the cup down to the edge of a tray there's a possible triangle there. that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

If you say it's a golden triangle composition it is. I really the pattern of the screen in the background and the beautiful unadorned silver pieces.

Beautiful treasures! As for golden triangles, no matter how much I read or look at supposedly good examples I fail to see it, I don't get it at all

The golden triangle rule seems to be quite ambiguous. I'm thinking that there does appear to be a diagonal line and two perpendicular lines joining it.
