A breathtaking show of florists' skills at the Salisbury Cathedral Festival of Flowers.
Coronation robe, over 100 hanging bottles, textile poppies, plastic water bottles as vases, Cola cans , Princess Elizabeth's nursery, floral arch and copper piping backdrop.
The theme, other than the royal jubilee was about recycling, reusing and repurposing with jam-jars, coffee jars, plastic bottles, wood shavings and packaging all used in the various displays.
I love your photos and the collage you have created with them. It must have been a fascinating display. I dare say your fossicked finds would have fit right in here!
I think that the photos in the notifications list come out in reverse order they are posted. Looks as if the displays were stunning. The collage, while good, really doesn't do them justice. Must have been awesome to view them in person.
