I'm banding together today with Barbara Harris http://365project.org/winosandfoodies/365 and her followers to support her liveSTRONG movement in the fight against cancer. I only wish participation alone would cure this terrible disease that affects everyone in some fashion. This is for you, Barbara, and my food choice is Mexican limes from our tree. When ripe, they're juicy and yellow!
Louise, hearts and fruit is a great idea. I posted mine today too. Your execution is flawless as always. A beautiful photograph and nice participation for Barbara Harris.
I initially was not familair with the name when I saw a photo earlier making reference to this same individual. I followed your reference site, so Louise thank you for the reference. Definitely a great cause.
this is awesome!!! love that you're supporting a cause, and making a great still life photo for theme! very very creative!
re tattoos;it's a mixed bag... some people bring ideas that I alter to a tatooable image. some people just give me the subject matter and let me do my thing to create the image. others bring in a tattoo design that is ready to go into the skin.
Hi Louise..So glad today I didn't have to look for you..my routine is to click on each and every follower of mine to look t their pictures and for commenting of course. so while you are not on it I sometimes orget to find you. well today it was easy as you left me a comment and click and bingo there you are. letting me know about the popular page. I never look becuse I don't expect to be on it.
this looks yummy and pretty! these little hearts are superduper cute!! not mention the meaning behind the picture! and as always, your comments make me smile. yes i think children's drawings are wonderful! i'm so glad i took a picture of her art because she gave that piece to her grandma! :)
Sorry Louise, I got interrupted..someone came to the door and I still wanted to say thanks for your comment and letting me know about the popular page.also had no time with the visitor here to read my writing to fix the typos.
Did not know Barbara Harris' story until I saw Constance's project. So I went to her website and read...quite a story. I know so many who have dealt with cancer and fortunately survived and lost some dear ones too. Loved Barbara's story - did a little tribute on my project tonight - thanks to you and Constance sharing the story. Thanks! Love your photo!
Nice shot Louise! I love those Mexican limes (but I have to buy mine at the store); they seem much juicier than a regular lime. Now I'm jealous of your lime tree. I am really enjoying looking at everyone's pictures for livestrong day; it's interesting that we all get the same rules, but each photo is so different from the next.
The addition of the 2 hearts made this picture very much your own. What a wonderful way to publicize the liveSTRONG movement in the fight against cancer. Being on the popular page increases its visibility. Great work.
Re: That sounds like an awesome book jacket! Also, I didn't colour in each bit individually, I drew and coloured in one picture then scanned it into my Mum's PC and printed it out 5 times :P Would have actually taken years if I'd drawn it that many times!
Wow...this is such a great photo and cause. Very creative. I did a livestrong photo today but I had to finish the circles chair series so I'll post it tomorrow. It didn't turn out quite the way I wanted but it will have to do.
What a fabulous picture. Great color. The hearts are a nice touch. We most certainly do NOT have limes growing here in NH. I did stick some grapefruit seeds in a pot a few years back and it is growing - indoors of course.
What a beautiful photo, Louise! I had to make it a fav! It's for a great cause, too! It has such a bright an optimistic feel to it!
Thank you so much for your comments! Our new nephew is absolutely adorable and I've been spending quite some time with him! We already did a small photo session and I edited some of the photos today. I don't have any experience with baby portraits, but I think we got a couple of good ones for his mommy! I feel bad that I haven't been able to reciprocate all the comments on 365, but my time has been very limited lately! I'll come back tomorrow to take a look at the other photos from your calendar i've missed!
Thank you so much for the link to Melissa Zeltman's project! I haven't met her yet, but we'll definitely get in touch! It's so wonderful to have another 365-er around! ;-) Have I mentioned that you are the heart of this website? :-) Your sweet notes always put a smile on my face! :-)
What a lovely image. It looks so refreshing, and makes me feel healthier just looking at it :) I really like your composition too, with the hearts. They balance the lemon halves beautifully.

Great composition, dof and creative.
Your creation is so heartfelt! I love the composition and the fruit from your yard! Looks good enough to eat :o)
Great shot showing your support!
