Lookin' Out My Back Door

You've all indulged me as I've been posting my family pictures (thanks for that...they're pretty special to me) but so many of you have told me you like seeing pictures of Lunenburg. Today's was an easy capture. From my computer desk I can see the horse drawn carriages coming up the street. I grabbed my camera and ran out the back door to the driveway. The horse turns the corner and comes past the back of our house. In a more relaxed moment, we can sit on the back deck and listen to the horses clip-clopping by. How far removed we are here from the freeways of Southern California!

Beautifully captured! I like the composition

Oh, this is simply charming! How marvelous for you to have this summer break from the hustle and bustle of SoCal. How easy it must be to fall into a laid back summer groove!

I always thought your area there seemed so peaceful and inviting. How far are you from the Niagra Falls area?

That clip-clop sound is like a natural tranquilizer. How lucky you are to have this respite from the busy world of Southern California!

How sweet!! That is something that I would never get tired of seeing. What a wonderful opportunity to have two homes and be able to split the very different living experiences each year. :)
