I never imagined life could be so full! When I woke, I had no plans for the day...until I received an email from Thane http://365project.org/tdawg/365 asking me not to miss the launch of a locally built wooden schooner, the "Martha Seabury". I took a couple hundred pictures of this gorgeous boat and the crowds who came to see it set sail. I have so little time to sort through them all (though I made a youtube video of the event) I decided to pick this picture of Billy Campbell, actor and now captain of his own boat. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Campbell I had the best seat in the house for pictures today...couldn't have been happier!
Thanks, Thane, for sending us to the docks, and Thanks Ken, for being my "sous photographer"!
This is so cool! You're so lucky to be living where you are! I wish I lived where you do.... we don't get to have a city where it's a movie set, or a set to a television show. :(
@tanagerjohn Obviously you've been following along! Thanks for that! It's a pretty amazing place to be living, and no one is more amazed than Ken and I are!
@chard@allie912 I thought you two "might be" interested that Sunday night "Killing Lincoln", starring Billy Campbell, will be on the Nat Geo channel. Funny, because the day we were at the launch, the buzz was about how much he looked like Lincoln (though I don't know when it was filmed).. Hi to both of you :-)
