Our friend and neighbor from California, Judee (L), arrived this morning for a two-week visit. On our way home to Lunenburg, we took the scenic route through Mahone Bay, and Judee asked if we might drive past Gordon and Enid's (R) home. They were just sitting out front having afternoon tea, as is their custom back in Australia. They flagged us down to stop in for a visit. These three know one another from previous visits in both California and up here in Nova Scotia.
It's wonderful that friends from such a distance get to come together on this doorstep!

Since you're getting a wonderful education by being home schooled, you might be interested in my picture posted Aug 9. It's a fascinating place that my husband said he first learned about in grade school, reading the "Weekly Reader" that all school kids received!
