Mike came by the house Friday afternoon to ask Ken and me to join him and JD on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Iles de la Madeleine (Quebec). We'd gone there with them in the past and jumped at the chance to return again. After a 6-hr drive through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, we took a 5-hr ferry ride to the islands (that in this photo, we're just approaching). We had perfect weather!
