Over just the past few days I'm beginning to see the change taking place. On our way to meet friends for breakfast, I spotted trees that are turning red, but none was in a good spot to stop for a photo, Returning to town, I remembered a past year (was it last year?) that I'd photographed the tree alongside the Catholic church in town. We went for a look and weren't disappointed!
It was such a beautiful day, I took over 600 pictures and made two batches of meringue kisses...all of which I gave to several friends! It was just one of those feel-good days...which are standard fare up here!
It is quite beautiful Louise. I have come across sections where the leaves are changing more rapidly, but when I see it I am always moved in seeing the beauty, though I do not want to rush the cold weather.
@chard until mid-November...the longest we've stayed, and I'm so happy! On to Chicago for a short visit & home to get ready for all the family to arrive for Christmas! (Can you believe the rest of my year is mapped out already?!) (Christmas?!! *Yikes*!)
