Weird, Wild or Wonderful? by Weezilou

Weird, Wild or Wonderful?

I finally got an excellent photo of my black cat, Pink, and I couldn't leave well-enough alone...had to get out the toys and play again! Moment to moment all three words come to mind...she certainly makes an odd-looking white cat...her black outline looks all wrong. Say what you'd like as honestly as you wish...really! The jury is out on this one, but Ross said it's time for me to post some more pictures, so let him know I'm back in the game :)
I like the results you came up with here Louise, quite interesting, and I'm sure Ross has been seeing your postings lately so I think you're safe

She certainly looks a little closer to her name this way! My last cat was white so I think she looks great. I think it all comes down to what you're used to seeing... :)

@lynnz If the queen of WW&W processing says so, I can go with that! Thanks!

@Weezilou Love the name Pink for your black cat! We had a dog named Chicken once!

@lynnz Naming a pet is fun! Google AA Milne's "Pinkle Purr" to learn where the name came from. That poem was a favorite of mine from the time I was in first grade or younger. We had a "Tat", too... same poem...

I think it's great! I love doing fun shots like this from time to time and this one does indeed fit her name!

Very interesting results. Very artsy but in a techno way. I like it in a kind of freaky way.

@june That's what I was hoping for...a visceral response! Thanks!
@pyrrhula I seldom do much to my photos (because I have no idea what I'm doing) but this was odd enough I was curious to see what my friends here might think...
@jrambo001 I would agree that "art is in the eye of the beholder", and "artists should experiment" (no guts, no glory as Ferry said) It was fun...and might lead me to another fork in the road someday!
@dgrynn Your last sentence...that's EXACTLY how I was feeling about it. (It's an image of a cat without a soul, to my mind...)
