Ken and I had a fabulous day with the family at the Long Beach Aquarium on the occasion of the Pacific Islander festival as well, so there were a bizillion photo opportunities for music, dance and arts as well as all the fish and animals. With that dizzying array to sort-and-think through, I saw this taken at the end of the day and couldn't resist using it. Just as I was going to photograph that darling display of clothes, she "stepped in the way". I waited a moment and suddenly I was overcome with the urge to take that all-too-obvious funny photo! It could be my favorite of the day!
LOL, that is neat. You know the other day I was out picking up some things, and I happened to go through the baby department. I know it's hard to believe, but anyway they had sales on the infant items so Grandpa picked out 5 outfits for little Miss Scarlett when she arrives. It can be challenging because Stef told us, no froo froo and frilly lace. So I picked out some nice non froo froo items. Perhaps I will display some in a photo. Anyway, Grandpa cannot wait.

@digitalrn Look at you...you knew Exactly why I was there waiting to photograph it all! Your comments were SO cute...Steph is lucky to have a dad like you who is so excited for the big day! It's going to be life-changing for her...for all of you...and in a wonderfully good way! I laughed about the froo froo comment...our Tina is not frilly, but Heather, with a baby store, is a girlie girl... it will be fun to see it unfold. And yes, I found a darling little pink & white onesie (not the first I've gotten either!) (Tina's due for a c-section 7-7...and you wait til August, right?) Aren't we going to have fun!
I find myself drawn to a particular style over and over and must exercise conscious restraint to keep from overdosing. For example, I love red shoes but how many pairs of red shoes could one person wear? And let's be charitable, maybe she likes her polka dotted ensemble so much she wants to buy a similar one for a friend!
