You're never alone when you grow "in a bunch"! I don't often post floral shots, though I do love them, so this is for you, always thoughtful in your comments and liking what I post :) Wishing you many more birthdays and continued joy in seeing and sharing your world through a lens!
Thank you so much Louise. The girls have just gone and, although I have drunk more wine than usual I seem to be able to comment! The day turned out well and one of the best things were the thoughts and wishes from new friends on 365. Joining this project is one of the best things I've done. I'm having such fun and never thought I'd make contact with great people from all over the world, as well as developing a sharper eye for interesting shots!
@pyrrhula Now look at ME blushing! No, I'm no painter! I cropped this from a larger photo of these wild roses growing behind the neighbor's shed! I may have shifted the colors just a little, but it was lovely as it was. I finished with a "drybrush" finish in Photoshop...all super easy, and I have no paint stains on my hands! Thanks for the kind thought :)
All of the big flower fields I`ve captured are raise for the seeds. But those plants are also on sale on flower/garden shops and markets . Myosotis ( forget me not) is very easy to grow from seeds . One`s seeded they always comes back.
@pyrrhula So interesting to read about the seeds. Yes, we have forget-me-nots all over the yard up here...but they look leggy and gray when they finish blooming. Ken just pulled most of them out yesterday...and yes, we know they'll return!
Btw the flowers are gorgeous......love the colour.
Beautiful painting . Is it an aquarelle and made by you ? If yes , big compliments.
