Yes, Rose, You & Your Art are a Delightful Addition to my Photo-Journal to Remember a Lovely Day!
Rose was the other young lady painting across the street from our house when I met her and Emily. The two of them and Ariella came for lunch today and Ken and I had the most wonderful time in their good company! My three albums today may reflect the lunch and the work of these students, We learned that 70 of them were in town to meet the requirements of this architecture course (at McGill University in Montreal). They invited us to their show this evening, which is, for them, a critique of their work by their professor(s). In Rose's case, I find her palette of colours warm and lovely, the architecture strong and representative and her smile, irresistible! A+
@teiko It's an easy thing to do, Emilie. I studied art in college and it's always been a part of my life. It's a joy to meet, compliment and encourage artists and support the arts...life would be awfully dull without them! (So thanks. As a student myself in Mexico one summer, I've never forgotten the people who opened their homes to me and my classmates. At last I can pay it forward!)
I think you exemplify the quote, "she never met a man (or woman) she didn't like. So Many stories to hear and share because you took the time to ask. You are a lesson to us all.
