First, Ken and Ashley have been standing over my shoulder, all of us having a laugh as I was getting ready to post this. (Comments to follow...)
When I saw Ken and Dylan were dressed alike this morning (unplanned) I asked to take their photo. Ashton, nearing four, finds being photographed an intrusion in his life, so I was surprised when he said he wanted to be in the picture, too. I was delighted to have the group photo. Then tonight we're looking at it, and, laughing ...
This made me smile! Gorgeous family portrait! I know from my attempts last week how hard it is to get everyone in the shot looking good at the same time!
I love this one Louise! and I think the tie dyed t-shirt makes the shot! I think we too often take for granted the ease of 'snapping a photo'. All of these moments are so precious ... and we should treat them as such :)
What a cool shot of Grandpa and the boys. Frame this one!! (I just went to the "awkward family photos" site. Great. We have a few we could add to it, for sure.)
@kwiksilver haha! I think he's trying to shed the "cheesy smile"...held this look through several photos with and without the others! At "almost 4" one tries to get a sense of self...I'm still working on that one myself!
I agree with you about this pic. future.
