@mikegifford@mzzhope I've heard (but don't understand) that black cats are hard to place in homes... So nice to find two other loving families here! (This one adopted us and has lived in our yard for several years. Also have a black indoor kitty, birthed by a different feral in our yard... Future photos will contain many of my dear free-loading animals!
@Weezilou It is true Louise.I had no udea that black cats were hard to place either. We adopted our as an adult from the shelter and the volunteers clapped for us as we left.lol.I dont understand..i think they are beautiful. But i have heard that the younder generation do not want black animals because they dont photograph well in selfies.lol!
@mzzhope "Oh Dear God"!!! I'm aghast! I'll try to put the notion out of my head that selfies have risen to a new level of narcissism!! Give your dear little Zoe a cuddle for me...and if you've never read it, check out the A.A. Milne poem , Pinkle Purr... You'll love it! My indoor kitty is named "Pink" because of the poem... Thanks for sharing :)
@Weezilou@mzzhope Black is always hard to photograph because the model (kitty) doesn't cooperate well. You usually have to digitally capture them on their terms ;-)
@_catherine_ oh dear...midnight is not an optimum time to take a stroll down memory lane!!! http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2010-01 Pink was my opening salvo, and then I went back into Dec to add some pictures later..."unclear of the concept" at the outset! Sad to see that TJ and Tabby are no longer with us...they found their way to our yard and hearts and home some time ago... (Shocking to see how my photos and captions have changed! Also shocking to know I'll have as difficult a time finding fresh items to photograph as long as I'm at home here... But perhaps things will have changed...) So again..."Good night"!
Palm trees just don't feel "Christmas-y", do they, even when they're adorned in lights. Nope. Only a pine will do! Your B&W picture almost makes it look as if Mr. Cat is hanging out in the snow.
