Yesterday the workmen told me Frosty had been around and was shaking her tail and chattering at them.
Today I learned that they'd eaten the peanuts I set out in a dish for her! So they ate her food and demolished her yard... Sounds like an uncontested case of vandalism as far as she's concerned!
We made it up to her, and I let those guys know she's a pet...they got quite a kick out of her! (And I think she *would have*, literally!)
The ducks are just ducky and the cats are nonplussed... All's well, and to my mind, getting better by the day!
@hbdaly How funny that you should have used *the identical wording* a friend used when she told Heather on FB that she needed to pass this along to me! Yes, I should be embarrassed to admit I've even done with Frosty what the person did in the first photo... And hand feeding her...piece of cake! The photographer had more little friends and a better camera lens...it was awesome! Thanks for thinking of me!
@bradsworld why yes,...I was beginning to wonder when someone would take notice... So tell me...can we expect the Johnson's to join members of 365 at SJC tomorrow between 12:30-1? Did you receive my note(s)? Didn't want to badger, but 7-8 should be there...expecting a nice time!
So funny processed on this lovely capture. Fav..
With or without work the pain is the same. So you better can do so works .
Than the attention is less.
Clean, yes, but we pay a price for it. First by our levying of taxes, second by the penalty you`ve to pay if you make it dirty.
OK, I so have to FAV this, first for the "pet squirrel's" posturing and cussing at these cretans who destroyed her habitat, and then, because I think that is the way I felt most of last year when my house was being torn up all around me, and I felt invaded and out of sorts! Yep, I so totally relate to the way Frosty is feeling right now! And, to take the peanuts you left out for her...now, that is adding insult to injury!!
