Mesa Sunrise by Weezilou

Mesa Sunrise

Since the challenge that came down to me from Gena Pegg via Anita Campbell was to post three consecutive days of landscapes, I thought to find 3 different looks. Thank you all SO MUCH for liking my Nova Scotia Golden Hour and all the comments and favs. I'm going with something completely different today, a sunrise without color. The texture is called "vintage post card", so I like the idea of it, but not sure it works as a landscape image. I enjoy the experimentation, and ...
with no back yard and no animals and friends who didn't want to walk on the beach after lunch...I'm short on choices. This is it...

I personally think it might work better if there was detail in the ground. But otherwise I like the finish.

I like the results, the pale color and the outlining of the mountains, very nice

This is great Louise. I think it works. @ladymagpie and @kelly2 have accepted my challenge to them if you want to have a look and see two very different English landscapes.

@eyesmile Thanks, Gena! I could only wish I had a view like this! Again, this is in the hillsides of Carpinteria. Our daughter and family live there.
