OK, you'll have to imagine the whales as I did. We were heading out to take sunset photos and everyone was talking about the whales on the surface next to a kayaker...even our kids had seen them. I didn't see anything obvious and because consumed with the sunset instead. The waves were crashing and the sky was beautiful... That's the island of Molakai on the right. Lanai lies off to the left, directly in front of the setting sun, and facing Lahaina.
We have one more Hawaiian sunset left, and we fly back home Thursday afternoon... That 's going to be a tough good-bye...
The color palette is amazing. Different than what I'm accustomed to seeing - rich and vibrant. I may have to add Hawaii to my bucket list. I'm thinking you've convinced me, Weezi!
