You're all so thoughtful to stick by me when I have had little-to-no time to even look through all my photos, much less post them! The activity level has been high with no end to the photo ops. Home last night & I have this one day "free"...to clean house & do laundry in preparation of the arrival of our visitor tomorrow. We'll be on the road with her, so I have to pack again as well!
I fully understand everyone's as busy as I am, and I hate to make excuses, but I wanted you to know why I've been so absent from returning all your generous favors ("favours" to my non-American friends!)
I hope to post a few fillers to keep caught up, but give me a few days to regroup and I'll return to better participation soon!
We love you back, Louise, and please take all the time that you need, and most importantly do NOT feel guilty about it! I really, really understand how you want to do it all, be there for everyone, keep current and abreast, but frankly there are only so many hours in a day, and you do need some sleep! I was totally impressed at the number of emails I received with the wonderful photos from our outing in Coronado, and if that is any indication of how many photos you have to sort through with the family, I don't envy you! Maybe time in Lunenberg will be a little quieter?....maybe?! Take care of yourself and all that you have to do, and save the photo sorting for a "rainy day". Love you! Have fun with your Australian friends!
I agree, take the time you need, your followers will understand. The fact that you took the time and effort to create such a lovely note to everyone says so much about you. It's a wonderful gesture, and very well done too :) Take care, relax, and have fun!
Just relax and enjoy yourself Louise!! We all know what it's like when life takes over. We will still be here when you have some free time to spare for 365. Have a great time away with your friend!!
No apologies required....specially when you're about to look after a fellow Aussie for us :) 365 is a fantastic site and everyone has ups and downs and disappearances! But there are no rules so enjoy what you can and we'll see you when we can :)
Enjoy your time with your Australian visitors, your family and other pressing needs. You bring so much joy and smiles to us all I just want you to enjoy your life moments and not worry about us. I'm glad like many others to call you a friend.
Louise, I know exactly what you are saying. After 5 1/2 years of almost daily posting and commenting I felt terrible when I had to back off, but I had no choice. There was just no way to keep it up. Now as life allows I post, and comment, still feel guilty but I have gotten to the point where I can accept when it is necessary to sit back and let it go a few days. We understand.
Not to worry!!!!! Life gets in the way and there really is a life before and after photography!! So, we all have our time away and do the best we can to keep up or catch up!! Have fun with your company and we'll see you when you get back!! Lovely tribute to all of us I say!!!
I love how you incorporate handwriting into your photos. I think it's awesome! You rock! Enjoy your overwhelmedness. It sounds exciting. We'll still be here when things slow down a bit for you!

Thank you for the kind words! I loved so many of the comments! Osia, I'll have less time in Lunenburg! I come back to CA to rest up...but it didn't happen! Carol & Allison, thank you for being so caring... Hate to group so many of you who said to have a nice time with our friend...actually, she (from Australia) is the first to put us on the path to Nova Scotia! We'll meet up there again this summer! Denise, we LOVE our several Aussie friends and I promise to show her a Fair Dinkum time! Susan, Ferry, Bonnie ♥ Rick, Kathy, Joan...all of you, really, I know we find ourselves in the same boat...wanting to give 100% to everyone. I knew you'd understand. I knew I could even disappear & I'd get a message now & then asking if I was ok...we do look in on and look after one another! SO: Life is Good! Time here for some one-on-one visits with old friends, and catch-up as I can! Can't stop taking the pictures...it's a habit now, for what that's worth! Will send some your way...just leave me a smiley face! ":)"
@voiceprintz ... we were writing over one another, so lovin' you as well! There's a web site that allows us to make a font with our own handwriting. I typically print, so there you are! It's spaced a little tighter than I would do it, but friends recognize it as mine.
If anyone wants the link, I think I can find it pretty quickly. I left it once before, but this may be a new circle... It was easy enough to do...and what fun!

The writing on my "to do list" is a font I made with my own lettering and the help of this site.
(I figured you'd all like that if you haven't done it already!)

Louise, chillax. You've earned it Superwoman. I know what you mean, one year of daily posting was enough for me, and my intermittent posting nowadays still keeps me in touch with my online friends. Look after yourself, we'll still be here once you're refreshed.
@dailypix reading back thought some recent old posts and I got a chuckle out of your wording..."enjoy life's moments"..well *some* of them anyway! I wouldn't dream of complaining...and what the heck...they're all "teaching moments" if we let them be, aren't they?... This is my last note of the night... Hugs, dear friend...
@Weezilou hello my friend glad to hear you are home now. I do try to at least be thankful for each day even when is appears there is not much to be. You are such an encouraging positive person I want to be more like you. 😘
