I'm here in Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico with our hostess, Ilean who was Enid's home-stay student in Australia years ago. Enid's son, Nigel is with us, and two doors down, Ilean’s brother, family & father were visiting their vacation condo, so all weekend, we were one "big family"! The food...*So Delicious*! The beach...*Fantastico*! The people, a pure delight! I spent last evening "conversing" with Ilean's father, using his limited English...my limited Spanish. It's "stressful" to make myself understood while keeping the conversation lively! But what fun, and a feeling of satisfaction!
Nigel is paying for some limited wi-fi access, so no time for email or many uploads. I'm getting some wonderful photos, and soaking up the Mexican culture that I enjoy so much. Thanks for dropping by and meeting my newest animal friend, "David". (There were 4-5 camels here and all had biblical names!) He loved being loved on...so sweet.
Hoping to send photos all at once and then, to the beach! Hasta luego! ♥
Of course you found another animal to love!!! This is such a wonderful picture, and so typical, and I am glad the camel is big enough that you don't have to stoop down to hug it!! Great shot....wonderful portrait of all three of you!! :-))
Hate to break the news to you Louise, but that's not a burro. LOL
Glad he wasn't feeling feisty enough to spit! That would have just topped your troubles! Such an adorable photo of you and your new friends.
