Since I started the thread, I thought I'd better jump in with our moon overhead! I see it's most similar to Pam Knowler's @pamknowlerhttp://365project.org/pamknowler/365-year-3/2015-07-30 in a near Latitudinal line. (Hers was very deserving of the PP as even our photos of the moon can vary greatly!)
@salza Thanks, Sally! I'll always look at the moon close-up photos differently now! As photographers, there, once again, we've taught one another something new (even though you *knew* it before I did!)
Your moon is upsidedown to mine - or is it that mine is upsidedown being "down under" :) Say all that quickly :) Fav for your moon - I'm a sucker for moon shots!
Great shot of the moon! Interestingly enough, I looked at your EXIF and saw that you were only zoomed out to 215mm....that camera of yours is really impressive, and can go to 60x zoom, which is like 1200mm!! Definitely looking into it! :-))
LOL! Thanks Osia... It was less than $800 I think and I use it nearly all the time! It performs beautifully in a number of circumstances like huge zoom and interior stage lighting! Suits my needs nearly 100%~
