I never like to miss an opportunity to use photos as a means of thanking people for gifts given, so when Janet handed me a paper sack after the Chamber Music performance last night, I knew we'd be looking forward to another good breakfast!
Again, it's so easy to make your own e-cards to "pretty up" your correspondence! I wanted to share the suggestion (as I have several times in the past).
The weekend was so filled, we marked the events by the hour (all day and late into the night on Saturday!) I'll catch up one day...thanks for hanging in there with me! You, my friends, (and my lurking friends :) are never far from my mind!
@pamknowler That was all Photoshop...and super simple to make the expanding borders. The font is called "Amadeus Regular"...I think it came with my computer, but can't recall... Thanks, Pam!
@jamibann Happy St Andrew's Day, Issi! I'll be thinking of you when we go to a music event tonight with Scottish friends & entertainers! I was hoping you'd come by so I could tell you as much!
O dear Louise. More work ? I do have time less to make all that I want to. But when I stop making jewels it`s a great instead of. I`ll keep it in mind. In the mean time I enjoy watching yours. Love them as they are very creative and very beautiful.
Yes, I've been lurking. The only time I get for the internet these days is viewing it on my iPhone while taking my crazy long commute home. How much longer before you fly back West? Bet every year gets harder to leave!
Looks scrumptious! Catching up seems to be a pattern for several of us Louise. I too have been so behind, but yet my life is so full of special moments lately, I just cannot help it.
@digitalrn First note of the day to you, m'friend...you said it all so succinctly! Not meant to bemoan, but sharing that, at present (and before coffee) I'm so tired I can't even organize my "to do" notes scattered all over my desk! We're on the downhill run to leaving on the 9th, so I don't know if it's possible to keep up for the moment... Still "trying", though! Enjoy "The Important Moments!" They don't come around twice! xo to you, Josie & your family!
@bluespirit I'm always so happy to see friends here, but all-the-more guilty for not having enough time to even look at photos! (I can't look without commenting...and that's the hook!) We're in our final week...we leave the 9th. Yes, it's excruciating to have to say good-bye again...we do love it here! Of course we'll adjust & love seeing the grand kids for Christmas, and *maybe* I can catch up on things and look forward to coming back in May! I'll keep in touch!
