When I saw my "little beast" looking for food (and it was pouring rain all day) I set a dish of her favorites on the mat at the back door. Smart little cookie that she is, she positioned herself up against the door so, while the dish got wet, she didn't.
Pam Knowler said the other day that she looked quite "Posh" as she dined on Limoges dishes. Though today it looks as though she's fallen on hard times, she's still "Posh" to me ♥
Oh Posh how times have changed!! Where is the Limoges now? Down to a pottery bowl!! LOL!! Never mind the food is still the same and how lucky you are that Louise is looking after you so well!! Fav!
Awwww...you're too good to them! Okay, no, you're not. I'm just bad. We stopped feeding all our squirrel and bird friends last summer because they were destroying our house! Our house is wood from top to bottom and they all tend to want to feast on it, as well as the feed we put out. The squirrels are seriously eating away our stairs and railings and the wood-peckers amass all over the trim and siding and pound away to create huge holes! The voles and moles come up through the ground at night to eat the seeds dropped to the ground and have undermined the whole yard to the point that there's some serious damage to the foundation of the house. Of course, the raccoons, squirrels and even a rogue black bear continued to tear down and destroy every birdhouse I put out, so all-in-all, it became a losing battle, so we threw in the towel last summer. I must admit, though, i really miss them all.
Great lovely capture of you guest. I`ve only the birds and they fly away as soon as I get near.
Thank you for you so nice comment on my ``trees in line`` captures. You make me with blush. Not my fould they all are lined up. (Kidding) The main reason for it is that they`re often planted beside the dike/roads . The roots strengthen/consolidate those.
@Swazzette In the instances you mention, Ken would put a stop to my "foolishness" to be sure! That's bad stuff...seriously, I get it! I'd certainly be disappointed...and in my case, stuck at home for the most part at present, they're the stuff of my photos! So good to see you around, Sue! You're still my dear friend...I'm just a poor correspondent!
