One of the reasons we stay an extra week after grandson, Dylan's birthday, is so we can be some help to our daughter. As the school's instrumental music director, there are endless practices and performances for the Parent's Weekend that follows. Each day, starting Thursday, meals were served out on the lawns and John & his students performed jazz, Big Band and easy listening, for example, as everyone ate lunch or dinner For this set he stepped in and picked up the guitar, but this was a rare occasion when he didn't have one of his boys up there next to him!
