"Tranquility Bay", VERY Far Away...

Thought I'd missed the opportunity to photograph the rising moon when Ashley & John took us out to dinner. Instead, I got wonderful sunset pictures at the beach and on the drive home we had some wonderful angles on the rising moon, starting low. Ken even stopped for a beautiful location across the mountain hillsides and down to the ocean. But as I looked as just a couple of pictures, this one made me laugh!

Oh boy, this is a “tongue in cheek” photo if I ever saw one! Tranquility Bay indeed. It was easier for Neil Armstrong to walk on the Moon than it was for you to go a single mile on that highway! 😊

i was watching the moon rise Tuesday night, not shooting, just watching it. this would've been a sight to see, even with "civilization" dominating the view. aces on the shot. when do you plan on coming east?
