We drove with the family to Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) today, briefly through New Brunswick and across the (long) Federation Bridge on to the island. With a great deal of farming (potatoes and dairy cows), everything looks so tidy and manicured. Most of the homes look very prosperous, and while it would be ideal for scenic photography, it lacks that textured, gritty look that I find appealing for photography.
We're just down the road from where Lucy Maude Montgomery grew up and became the author of Anne of Green Gables. I'd like to go through the home again and photograph vintage details.
We also hope to see foxes, which are plentiful up here, and we're going to a garden and butterfly house tomorrow. Plenty to keep us busy...if we can get the boys out of the Jacuzzi tub on the back deck of our cottage!
Gloria Jones @seattlite suggested this looked good on black... I SO agree! Makes it pop! Thanks, Gloria!
@seattlite Oooh, Gloria, your're right about "on Black"! Most things are improved that way, but I never think to mention it; thanks...I'll do so with this one! Thanks for the compliment and fave!
Gorgeous. I'm hoping to persuade Dave to do a Nova Scotia/PEI trip in the next year or two. I'm a nervous flyer and have never flown for longer than a couple of hours. But I'm thinking might be a way of easing myself into longer flying as can do in 6 hoursish...
