Cute as she is, we're about to despair of this cat! She knocks things off tables and counters and broke a vase I had on the mantle! She belongs to the grandkids, and they arrive tomorrow to take her home after their visit.
Here she is in a quiet moment in the middle of my work space, where even "Met Lady" looks as though she's despairing of this cat as well!
@joansmor What a wretch I am to have not put myself in her place!!! Clearly it took the wisdom of another cat lady to sort through the contention!!! ♥♥
The supreme self-confidence of the cat! The perfect embodiment of everything good and bad about a cat! I do love and miss not having one to order me around.
Happy New Year Louise, and enjoy the visit with your grandkids,
Awww...First I love the lighting in this shot...She's a bit out of sorts being away from her main family but I'm sure she sure she appreciates your hospitality :).
Love the tones and the light, you used for this picture. Fantastic. And her ambivalent body language made me smile. Still sorry you lost a vase on this cat.
@Weezilou I had one cat that the friend who stopped by each day to feed and he would stay for a while in the beginning but he stopped doing that because over several years he never saw the cat and only new it survived because the food disappeared and the litter box needed changing. Two on the other hand immediately falls in love with the caregiver. You feed Two you are her friend for life.
Laughing at Met Lady's expression. Nicely captured! You know of course that the world is in fact not flat, because if it was, cats would have pushed everything off, right? How ya been, Louise?!?
A darling soft pallet of color capture. This kitty looks pretty innocent to me. I guess all cats are different. As big as Katniss is, she can walk across a crowded tipsy-balanced pile of stuff and never knocks over a thing. She even walks across my laptop keyboard and doesn’t mess up anything. Maybe she is a figment of my imagination?!?
@gardenfolk I think Katniss is one of the more typical cats, unaffiliated with Clumsy Syndrome! This cat was a first for me in that she was into EVERYTHING! I've always put up with every sort of cat habit, but I DO miss my vase! That said, she was an irresistible cutie!
@Weezilou That is the way I feel when Katniss wants to use the furniture as a scratching post. I love her more than my furniture but best if I do try to point her somewhere else to scratch. I am sorry your case is gone...or save the pieces and turn it into a pique assiette project if it was made of pottery or porcelain! Glass is a lost cause.
Happy New Year Louise, and enjoy the visit with your grandkids,
