On our drive south, returning home, we stopped at homes of friends, both ours and theirs. On this first stop a lovely brunch had been prepared for our visit. They'd known David in Sydney, but his new wife and we, their friends, were tag alongs! She mentioned they were celebrating their 51st anniversary this year, so when I saw this exquisitely presented bouquet in the living room, I asked the date of their anniversary. "Oh, he gives me a bouquet every week...", she replied, "Our anniversary is still a few weeks away" Wow! Husbands, take note!
