Roussillon, in the department of Vaucluse, France, is listed as one of 'les plus beaux villages de France' and lies in the heart of the largest ochre deposit in Europe. Over centuries ochre has been used to build and colour the village's buildings with a palette ranging from yellow to deep reds and pinks.
Wonderful composition and capture, you are finding some amazing sites on your travels Suzanne! I love the little blue and green wooden covers for the small windows.
