I was inspired by Jackie and Monika to haul out my watercolours. I tried some different watercolour techniques. On the left it's wet on wet and then place a piece of clingwrap onto the wet paint, scrunch up and let paint dry. In the middle was supposed to be a lifting off technique which didn't work too well so I turned it into a negative technique. On the right I freehand painted the different circles to emulate bubbles.
I need to cut the card, then I can give away some bookmarks.
@salza Fascinating to see the different techniques you used and to see the terrific results, Sally. very different looking and yet beautiful each in their own way
I would never have realized there were different techniques in play here although I see them after you mention it. Very nice. BTW, I have no painting skills. Period.
@salza Sally, I love each and one of these. I particularly love the cling film effect, but all three are excellent.
From my point of view, I think you should not dismiss watercolour.

Not sure if I'm winning with watercolours. Think I should go back to oil or acrylic and see if my inspiration will return.
