Well today was a better day. I was on my way home and I decided to get off of the bus a few blocks from my usual spot and decided it would provide me the chance to get some nice shots.
I have taken a few shots of the Legislative Building in my project already but this one is taken a few blocks away at the beginning of what is known as Capital Boulevard.
The city is in the process of making this more pedestrian friendly and adding a few newer more natural elements to this section.
It will be interesting to see the final results. I do like the glimpse of the dome of the building in the distance
When I'm in cities taking photos my eye is always drawn to the street lamp post and lights...I love how these are all in a row...the one almost looks like it's going to touch the top of the dome point!
@summerfield It is interesting how this turned out as I was in the middle of the street when I took it and I had to clear the crosswalk before the light changed
Great shot and i like the Globe in the distance...i like that you will have a before and after shot for when they do doll it up a bit!! I think sometimes we just have to take a Left...go somewhere we never have been before....just to get a new perspective! i would like to go here someday! ...:)
