Lest We Forget

Continuing with a section of the Beverly Mural this is the Beverly Cenotaph which is the oldest one in the province of Alberta.
It was dedicated on Oct. 17, 1920. The park would be expanded after the Korean War to include veterans from both World War II and the Korean War.
The cenotaph remains here to this day and is the site of one of many Remembrance Day Ceremonies every Nov. 11
I'm really enjoying your mural series! They are all so detailed and colourful!
