When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

So here is another shot from the Opening Ceremonies of the ITU World Triathlon. As I mentioned yesterday I took the time to go around and welcome some of the athletes to Edmonton and talk with them. These are some of the members of the Irish Team. The fellow on the far left asked me if I was racing. I just kind of chuckled and said that I was not anywhere near I enough in shape to try. His response, well you can you always start training today for next year. So may be next year I will end up in Chicago where the race is being held. Wouldn't he be surprised to see me there. Seriously though, all of these folks were so friendly and it was a lot of fun getting to chat with them. Have a great weekend everyone
