Doors to a Whole New World by bkbinthecity

Doors to a Whole New World

Every time you go to a theatre and watch a movie it seems like entering a whole different world.
These are the doors to the Princess Theatre, one of only two single screen theatres left in the city
Cool

Great find! I love older buildings!

You mean there really are single screen movie theaters left -- anywhere? All multi screen now. However, we aren't movie goers, haven't been to a movie theater in -- probably 25 years........ or more. I remember seeing "Grease" with my then barely teenage daughter. She'll be 47 next week!

Getting lost in a movie or a book, is the way we cope with life

It does seem theaters are becoming rare. When I was young, I'd go into to one feeling plain and come out thinking I'd turned into a movie star. LOL

Wow--love those old doors and the grillwork. Nice shot.

Cool shot. I agree, it is a different word to experience inside a theater. We just went and saw the 3rd Hunger Games movie.

Nice to see that there is still a classic theater left. Most of them now are mega theaters with 8 screens and IMAX or 3D. Love the oldness of this one. I hope they never change it.
